Description
This course explores the creation and delivery of health communication. The Society for Health Communication defines health communication as "the science and art of using communication to advance the health and well-beling of people and populations." Health communication arises from and happens within a wide array of contexts for a wide array of reasons and is developed fro a wide array of audiences. This course will use a social-ecological framework and equity lens to explore and critique health communication. Students will practice developing and delivering health communication for specific audiences.
