Description
Students will spend approximately 150 hours during the course of the semester working in the areas of public health, including international health outreach, community development, health educational material development, and involvement with established health services programs of the County. Students assume responsibility and will demonstrate appropriate leadership skills and knowledge. Placement of students is ideally pre-determined during EXS 380: Junior Seminar. However, placement may also be based on course work completed, grade point average, demonstrated leadership, and career goals. (WI)
