Description
This course examines how leaders can motivate individuals and teams to develop creative ideas and produce innovative products or services. Students will learn about how the innovative process operates within organizations, and how leaders can facilitate it. Course topics will also include challenges and barriers to organizational innovation, and ways that leaders can help to overcome them to bring about innovative change. Examples are used to deepen understanding of course topics, and scenarios are used to encourage critical thininking, most importantly problem solving (i.e., application of course topics to solve organizational problems).
