These may be undertaken after consultation with and approval of the faculty members in the stated area of interest. The following areas for study are suggested by the Biology faculty: Animal Behavior; Biotechnology, Cell Biology and Genetics; Ecology; Environmental Education; Public/Environmental Health; Microbiology; Natural History Studies of North Carolina Vertebrates and Invertebrates.
